Grassroots Initiative for Poverty Eradication and Liberation of the poor (GIPELP) – is a not-for-profit organization established in 2013 to alleviate the sufferings of orphans and destitute in society. The initiative is committed to the selfless service of sensitizing and empowering women and men with resourceful skills to earn a living wage. By this, helping to bridge the socio-economic gap in the areas of Education, Justice, Health, Environment, Welfare and Economic-empowerment in Nigeria.

To provide the basic needs of life to the destitute and less privileged persons in the world;
To provide economic empowerment, create jobs and promote financial independence and economic self-reliance for the poor;
To help the needy and render all forms of humanitarian services to the poor and destitute persons;
To establish, run and manage various homes for destitute persons including orphanage homes, motherless babies/children homes, homes for the elderly, homes for beggars and homes for internally displaced persons;
To bring infrastructural development to rural and ghetto communities;
To promote self-esteem, self-belief, self-confidence, hard work, love, peace, respect, obedience, discipline and moral rectitude among the poor.
